lower intake gasket is leaking, a few questions
i noticed coolant on the ground the other day and pop the hood sure enough coolant is leaking form the lower intake.
my questions are, i've never mess with a distributer but i know i am gonna have to take it out to replace the gasket, now if i take it out will it only go back in one way? i don't wanna get the timing way off. other then that this looks like a simple job, take off the plenum, and unbolt the bolts take off the distrubter and the lower intake should come off, any tips or should i use RTV any where as well?

Take off the dis cap, mark the position of the rotor with a piece of masking tape marked "rotor seated" put another piece of tape on the firewall behind the dissy and draw a mark on the tape and a matching mark on the dissy's base plate. when you pull the dissy up the rotor will turn alittle, mark this position with tape marked "rotor up", when you reassemble just line up the marks and you should be all set.

it's easier than it sounds, you just have to know where everything is pointing before you take it apart.

i've never done that, i've gotten the hang of finding TDC as a result!
after you get it back together if you do that, at least put a timing light on it and make sure its 100% on the spot.

i took some pics my camera had no battery so they came out crappy
in this pic gas has obviously been leaking i am thinking its the injector orings are bad, also i noticed the injector harness that comes out on the back they go staright out to the injectors, on the front they cross, if you understand what i am saying, is that normal?
