Car: 1991 z28 camaro
Engine: 350 TPI bored .060 over
Transmission: 700R4
What should I do next?

I have a 1991 camaro with a 91 corvette L98(comes w/ aluminum heads). It's bored .060 over with forged internals. I'll just list my mods.
-Hooker Longtube headers
-BBK Throttle body
-Ported Plenum
-Borla adjustable exhaust(w/ no cats)
-1.6 roller rockers
-Custom burnt chip
-SLP CAI
-MSD Ignition
-few other odds and ends(such as weight reduction)
-150 shot of NX(don't use often)

My question is what should I do next? Current best time N/A is 13.63 @ 102.8. I'm considering buying a new intake system, such as the HSR, but i'm not sure how much this will even help...or if it even will? I am also open to ideas of very streetable cam/head packages. Currently sitting at approximately 250+ rwhp. I'm looking for about 300ish rwhp.

I've considered it, but I was thinking more along the lines of a turbo. Just not experienced in either of them, although my dad is and could help me.

turbo = good for smaller engines because the engine doesnt power the turbo.

supercharger = good for our engines because we have the power already to turn the supercharger.

A turbo would require a lot more fabrication for you than a supercharger would.

Dont get me wrong, turbo sbc chevys can be fun, but so can supercharged ones

The benifit to turbos is that if you keep your foot out of the kitchen the turbo doesnt generate much boost, giving you a lot better gas mileage than a supercharged sbc.

Its all a matter of preference really.

Damn, modding my car is like being addicted to a drug. I think about selling it to buy an LS1 car then I just end up buying another mod lol. I love the L98 engine for reasons I can't really explain. I just love the way it drives all around, and how well I know exactly how to drive it.

My original question though..would a new intake system help me out in the horsepower(useable) department?

I really dont know, thats a question for someone else. Ive only owned 2 third gens, an 86 that was tune port and my 84 which is carb'd. I never modded the tune port becaues I bought that car for 600 doillars and it died 2 months after I owned it.

If I was you, I would really take advantage of having forged internals and running boost into it, you would see a huge difference compaired to a new intake system. After you supercharge it, then go with a new intake system

uh, does that have a stock cam in it? I'm quite impressed with your timeslip, and I think a cam would help out greatly, 'specially since you've ported the plenum/runners as well? Or an aftermarket intake would help too.

Yes it has the stock cam in it. Why people ask that I won't ever know. My friends L98 runs same traps as me with less mods, except he has a 6-speed.

a cam would really wake that up, as would head porting, or aftermarket heads.
