headlight motor

Transmission: borg-warner T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 posi
headlight motor
when i turn my headlights on or off they make a sound for 5 to 10 seconds after. it's the top of the motor spinning. the motors don't have the plastic caps at the top, so if I put some on them will this fix the problem? thanks...

mine did the same thing and all you have to do is put the bushing kit in both the motors
