Other then replacing the O2 ,you either have a short to ground or a faulty ECM.Check the wire that the O2 plugs into and make sure it isnt melted to metal somewhere.Make sure your engine grounds are good..usually at the back of the block.Or you if you access to a scan tool to read O2 voltage.

Tell you the truth I dont think they rebuild them..just open them up see anything out of the ordinary and slap them back together.Call them rebuilt..I bought a ECM off EBAY for 76 bucks and it was a remanufactured AC DELCO and its going good not a bit of a problem,I still have the original one for test purposes only ...if I ever come across a problem.I think I replied to you about one of the recent posts you left. They did have a lot of problems with the cross-fire vettes ECMs too, so I think your in that same boat.I would look into a brand new if its still available and bite the bullet on the price or maybe EBAY might have something.Thats if you dont fine anything on the O2 circuit.

You DID reply to me before about the cross-fire vettes--I figured you meant the cross-fire is a problem--not the ecms. I'm sure I just misread it though, since a lot of people tell me "cross-fire sucks." I don't know anything about the "scan tool", nor do I know anyone that has one. Not sure what I'll do since the car seems to run good. I might run it into a shop and see if they can find the problem? Thanks for all your help. BTW, since the car runs good, do you think it'll hurt anything to just keep on driving? I hate to do it, but maybe I can just pull the check engine bulb? What do you think?

Also, umm, my car,,,umm,,,doesn't have a cat converter anymore, I think. Hasn't for many many years, I think. It was running like crap a long time ago, took it to a shop, and the guy told me my converter was plugged. He charged me $25, and said.....you aint gettin a receipt.
But it ran awesome after that. Is there a way I can disconnect my check engine light without removing the gauges to take out the bulb?
