how to check injector resistance?

how to check injector resistance?

Thats what I need to know. How is it performed? I have a voltmeter.

You need an OHM-meter. Your voltmeter more than likely has this setting. Turn the **** or whatever to the Omega symbol, it looks like an upside down U. Your injector has 2 terminals in the connector, you have 2 test leads on your meter. Connect them, read the screen, done. 2-4 ohms you have low impedance, around 16 you have high impedance, and they should all be similar in resistance. If you have some that are 16.3, some that are 13.4, and some that are 10....you need new injectors.

just to make sure....so I do need to pull the connection from the injector. And then do i need to the key to the on position?

Just take the plug off of the top of the injector, and test the injector itself. You dont need the key in any particular position, as long as its not running.
