spark plug ceramic in cylinder
I was changing my plugs and the third one back on the passenger side is really hard to get at. I usually end up breaking it off when trying to get the socket on it, no big deal, I just take the bottom part out at that point since I have a new one to go in anyway. This time the ceramic that is around the electrode broke, I guess when it broke on the outside the shock traveled down the plug and caused it to break. After I got the new plugs in I started the car hoping it would break up and blow out of the exhaust. Now it seems like it is missing and backfires out of that side while idling once about every 10 seconds or so. What have I done ?

Sounds like a plug wire issue. Maybe the wrong firing order? I'd re-check and get a timing light. Check each plug wire and watch the strobe to find the miss.
