I'm on a quest for 13's. With TBI. So far, i have a 350 vortec short block, vortec cam, with stock 193 heads. TPI fuel pump, Full header back 3" exhaust, 700r4 with 2000rpm stall, 3.27 posi on 245-50's. Stock computer. Best of 14.84 at 90MPH, with a nice 1.96 60foot. Lots of bottom end.
So, Computer work is a given, im getting the EBL first, and learning to tune. And i have a good pair of 601 heads, that have had a start on port work. I know they'll bump my compression a bit. Will those heads, even with the small valves, be ok for 13's? And what about cam? keep the vortec cam, go LTI, or ??
