Sudden problem.

I went to start my car after the doctors this morning, and it immediately threw a code 34 "MAF low" and pegged the BLM's at 156. If I let the car idel it would idle fine, then randomly almost stall and cough back to life after a few seconds. There was a strong "running rich " odor at idle. I datalogged on the drive home... for the most part it seemed to run alright, but the BLM's remained pegged at 156 unless I was at WOT in which case they would drop to about 140.

Shut the car off, turned it back on, seemd to be gone.

What do you think happened?
