My car breaks up at higher RPMs
I got a 350 with a 650 carb a 465/488 lift on the car. I got the car timed at 13 degrees. Once I get around 3,000 it starts to break up. I got the gap on my spark plugs set at .35 is that too big? or is my problem somewhere else.
Also just wonder if anyone else has this set up...I got a 350 with 9.5:1 pistons, but on top of them I got them on 305 heads...what does that put on my compression ratio up too....?

you don't have enough info to calculate your CR. I have a 350 with flat tops and 305 heads though.
.035" gap sounds ok. What distributor do you have? What timing does it show at 3000RPM with no vacuum advance hooked up? (if equipped with vacuum advance...)
could be a bad ignition module, excess play in the distributor shaft, or fuel related.
