Easiest, cheapest way to get more HP out of your V6 is going to be the juice. Aside from that (or fabricating/buying a turbo setup), there's not going to be much room for improvement. Bolt-ons don't help the V6 line nearly as much as the strangled 305 V8s and even the more powerful L98s.

If I was in your position, I would try to fabricate a turbo setup if you are looking to make some serious horsepower. However that's not always in everyone's budget.

I would back out of the deal very quickly.
It'd take gobs of cash to make a V6 camaro move even somewhat respectably. So much EASIER to simply get a V-8 car to start with. Bolt ons do more, cost less, easier to find, etc etc.
A turbo V-6 is a huge hassle, and *might* make you as fast as a basic V-8, for about triple the price. A turbo on that basic V-8 would make you so fast you'd be wearing goggles so your eyeballs don't fly out. Yes, that's right, that fast
Seriously, it's not worth the hassle.

A 350 Chevy is the cheapest engine in the WORLD to rebuild. Thats no exaggeration. THAT would be the best bang for the buck. A shot of N20 would be even better
