Allright drained the oil this morning before driving 15 miles to my garage and out comes coolant! Not alot but enough. So can I drive the car 15 miles? How much damage will this cause? is my 250$ car still worth fixing?

The car HAS NOT been driven.

Coolant came out of the oil pan?

If so, it's your call. I drove a '95 Monte Carlo ~30 miles to get it home that way. But that's all the milage it saw like that. Who knows how many miles your engine saw like that before you got it.

I'd tow it somehow if I were you. Not only could you ruin the engine, it could lock up halfway there. Then you'll be towing it anyway.

 

That depends upon what needs fixing, and how you determine "worth".

Most likely, the answer is "yes".

 

The car was not driven prior to me finding the coolant. I have wanted a camaro for a while and I am not giving this up unless the block is cracked. I spoke with my brother and he said he remembers head work being done on it about a year and a half before I got the car and its been sitting for close to 6 months now. So maybe new heads and gaskets are in order, if so I am all game. I pray I make it the 15 miles and that the block is not cracked. plz heaven plz!

 

Car made it to my garage just fine. Used 1 battery and cracked it pretty well dead with the coil off to raise oil pressure and preesurize the gas system.
She started right up. Drove her home changed the oil... no coolant???? What does that mean? The passanger side head has a lifter tick it sounds like. Other than that I love it!!!
