backfiring and randomly dying

today i was driving home from work and my freind in his formula was behind me and i decided to show off by slamming the gas to the floor and leave him in the dusst, then it kinda died then backfired and was running agian! and a few days eairly i was driving and i hit a pretty bad pothole and the car just shut off. i was able to start it up very easily . thinking i had a bad ground i checked my wires and cleand up the contact areas but that must not be it! cause it still dies on huge bumps. also about a month ago i replaced a crank sensor because of a code 43 after that it drove good and didnt get a code..... not sure if this has anything to do with whats going on now though.
