Crankshaft and connecting rods????

Axle/Gears: 3.73 positrac
Crankshaft and connecting rods????

i recently bought a eagle crankshaft with a rod length of 5.700" and a rod journal of 2.100"

now i need connecting rods and they have the exact same rod journal diamater of 2.100"m my question is if there both the same, were is the room for the bearings?


crankshaft:eBay Motors: SB Chevy 350 Eagle Cast Steel Crank 3.480 Crankshaft 2p (item 190011140914 end time Jul-30-06 16:19:15 PDT)

rods:eBay Motors: 5.700" PRESS PIN Forged I Beam Connecting Rods 350 400 (item 110019128705 end time Aug-11-06 18:42:53 PDT)



any help?

The nominal rod journal size isn't the actual size of the hole.

so if i buy these rods, which size bearing do i need? .010" is good with these

No, just a standard size rod bearing.
