160stat or Bad EGR causing code 32?
The car is sluggish off the line, eventhough it's hot and nasty, on cold start up it doesn't roast the tires like it should. The motor is freshly rebuilt and I installed a 160stat once I got it back to keep the motor cool in these hot nasty months. However, after I installed the 160stat, I keep throwing code 32's. The car is getting up to temp, but it still throws it. Code 32 has something to do with the EGR and not reaching closed loop. But the performance sucks all the time. Mid range power is fine, but bottom and top end aren't so great.
Just curious if you guys think the 160 is causing the bad performance and code 32, or if the EGR is bad causing the code and bad performance? I will do the stat this weekend, but I've searched and haven't found anything saying a 160stat will throw a #32.
Thanks for your imput.

I guess I'm just referring to the gauge. I know it's not accurate, but it's usually 3/4 the way to 220 <-----make sense?
So you think it is the tstat. Will that cause the sluggish performance?
