i know this has already been said in another post somewhere but where can i find the engine #s on a LG4. (its supposed to be one). Its a 86 trans am and I went to go get a part and its the wrong one (EGR Valve). It could be the parts store (discount auto parts, man I guess i havent learned yet) but I cant find the #s nowhere.

vader thats a CMR one right ? very common engine suffix code, ive had a few CMR, and one right now even, going into my t/a


packmule, if you have your casting and stamping codes post them if you want ot, im curious to see what you hvae for an engine in yours
