EGR Question
Without removing my plenum to physically look for the ID numbers on my EGR, is there a way for me to tell what kind it is so that I get the proper replacement when I go to NAPA? I understand there are positive and negative backpressure versions, and that I need to get the right one.
Thanks for your help.

i would recommend an EGR valve that is not a pressure type valve.
one that uses either negative or positive back pressure may not work with after market exhaust.
the parts house should be able to look up the right part number for you.
to check the valve to see if it is a back pressure type of valve put a piece of vacuum hose on it & suck on the hose, if it opens that valve should work fine.

NAPA is good on the part #'s. Give them the same info in your sig. and you should get the right part. Napa is not cheap, but they get it right 99% of the time. If you don't have any exaust mod's, you'll get the right part. Why are you wanting to replace the EGR valve in the first place? Code 32? You might be wasting your money repacing the EGR valve if the solinoid or vaccum lines are bad. Changing to a cooler thermoustat (lower than 190*) could cause a code 32 also.

Would this be what you want? It should be a OEM direct replacement.
