MAF install (from a noob)

I appologize in advance cause I think I posted this question awhile back but I couldn't find it when I did the search.

I just bought a camaro that needs the MAF sensor replaced (included in the deal), but I need some detailed instructions to go by. I see where it is, and realize I have to disconnect the negative battery cable... but thats it. So any instructions would be greatly appreciated.

What year? What engine?

Usually, disconnecting the battery is unnecessary. Unplug the sensor, remove the clamps from either end, remove the MAF, insert the new MAF in the correct orientation, clamp the ducts back to the MAF, plug it in, and start the engine.
