Engine kit

I am having some trouble finding rods and a new crankshaft for my 305, does anyone know where i can get those, or an entire rotating kit. im at the last stage of my 85 iroc build and all i have to do is build the motor. so any help would be apreciated. thank you

Axle/Gears: 14 bolt with 3.07 gears
I know, I know, it is a 350 shortblock. But at the cost with the warrenty you can barely rebuild the 305 for that.

Its built with the same Nodular iron crank and PM rods that come in the LT1 and early ZZ4s.

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
The 350 upgrade is the obvious choice, but i'm sure summit would have an eagle rotating kit or the like ready to go. You can use 350 rods and crank, then just have it balanced to the 305 pistons. Removing material from the crank is what would be necessary i'd think, so that's relatively inexpensive.
Ohio crankshaft, powerhouse, any of those other places that advertise in the back of hot rod or super chevy or car craft would have a kit.

have you tried looking at any parts store. SBC/305 parts aren't hard to find. if by chance no parts store in your area has them try any mail order/internet engine rebuilder supplier.
