Wont Start Have 3 Essentials

OK so literally overnight, my car took a serious dive. I parked it and it would;nt start in the morning. No click from the starter at all. So i figured I left the lights on and the battery was dead. Sure wasn't because everything else worked. The fuel pump primed, the dash lights came on and the radio and all othger accesories still worked. So I hit it with a hammer and it started. So i went and bought a new starter put it on and nothing. Hit that one with a hammer and got a start out of it. Now i'm down to nothing. Starter has been bench tested and it is fine. So i learned that if there was not 12 volts at the purple wire or solenoid wirte on the starter with the key in the start positioin, then there is a problem in my ignition circuit. I changed the ignition switch and neutral/safety switch. Still nothihng. I hooked up a remote starter switch and it turns over strong but wont fire up. I have adequete fuel pressure and spark. I have no idea what else it could be. Thanksd for any help in advance.

when you are using your remote start, do you have the key in the on position ? if not, give that a shot.

key must be in the on position for the remote start to work. sounds like a bad wire somewhere in the circuit. get a tester and find the bad section.
