cam installed, few questions

i just finished putting an LT4 hot cam in my L98. i took it for a test drive today, and it seemed like if i tried to get on it a little bit that all it was doing was reving up and not really moving me anywhere. kinda like on a standard when the clutch is going out. any ideas what this could be?

what i did was: complete rebuild on the motor, LT4 hot cam, changed tranny fluid/filter. i also put on a plate nitrous system which moved the throttle body 1/2 inch forward. any input will be appreciated, thanks.

Are you sure the transmission is filled properly?

i didnt know there was a "proper" way to fill the transmission, i just dumped the oil in it...

the filter is in correctly, and yes i pulled the old o ring out, it came out on the old filter.

i dont remember how many quarts it took, but its not overfilled, i already checked that.

and i already adjusted the TV cable, i havent driven it today, but i rolled it around the driveway. last night when i put it in gear it wouldnt go anywhere without giving it gas, today i just let off the brake and it was fine.
