alright so my uncle gave me this pontiac 400 thats been sitting in his old trans am for about 5+ years... he said it was running when he parked the car. what all do i have to do to get it up and running again?

 

Still in the car? Drop out all of the fluids, flush the block/rad , rebuild/replace the carb, put fluids back in, check distributor, plugs, wires. Check existing wiring for frays/breaks, etc. Hook up a good battery, and give her heck.

If you are putting this in your 80 Camaro, you'll also need a BOP tranny.
