Wierd Problem
I have never heard of a problem like this. I usuraly start the car and let it run for a little wile to warm up. After i drive it for about 5 to 10 mins it dies and takes me 5 mins to get running again. After that it runs fine and dosent die at all.
I know it is a fuel problem. I had the gastank flushed and put a new filter on when i put the motor in. Do you think its a cloged filter or is my mechanical fuelpump going bad?

easy way to check - after it dies, when it takes 5 mins to restart - disco the fuel line at the carb or block pump - and get someone to crank it, see if fuel is pumping there. Possible vapor lock or bad pump or something.
or choke setting?
that kinda throws me actually...
