Camaro will not start at running temp
When my camaro gets to running temp at 210 it will not start again until it cools down. I was told that GM starter's do that before they go bad but the starter is only 4 years old. I would hate to start replacing stuff that is still good.

If the car is turning over but not starting, then it is not the starter motor.
If it's not even turning over when the key is turned then it may well be heat soak which is affecting the starter solenoid. If your car has headers, it's far more likely.
Try and (safely) rig up some kind of shield to temporarily place between the starter and the exhaust. Just a flat piece of metal should tell you, the more reflective the better, as you'll see improvement if nothing else. If this is the cause, then you could always buy some exhaust wrap to try and keep the heat in.

It does not turn over and it doesn't have headers. It doesn't even get a selenoid click. I will try the metal shield in a couple of hours. Let my neighbors wake up first. Where can I get exhaust wrap? Thanks for the help.

sorry, I don't know where you can get exhaust wrap as I'm in the UK. I've heard a shop called Autozone mentioned on here frequently though, maybe they'll do some.

if you're not even getting a solenoid click, it has nothing to do with "heat soak".
I'd look for loose wires, bad connections, etc. But most likely it's just a faulty starter/solenoid.
A nice new ministarter sounds like it'd fit the bill
