oil sending unit

I have an 89 camaro 2.8 v6 and I cant figure out where the oil sending unit is. Can someone help? I heard it was down near the oil filter but Im not sure. thanx

Engine: 2.8/TBI/TPI

Transmission: V8 T-5/700R4 x2

Axle/Gears: 3.42 open/2.73 open/ 3.27 9 bolt

It is near the oil filter but there is a combination switch that you are looking for. It has the sending unit for the gauge and the switch for the fuel pump relay combined I believe. Some older ones had two switches so look carefully!
