My 350 stock GTA runs bad when hot, and won't restart (but cranks). I found a shot of carb cleaner gets it running but it will still run bad until it's cold again. I also smell fuel sometimes from outside the car after a long drive.

Replaced: cap, rotor, wires, plugs, ign module
Checked: fuel pressure (38-45psi) and spark when cold and hot, never any codes, unplugged MAF (when running bad - no effect)

None of the things checked turned anything up. I ordered an ALDL cable from ebay, hopefully that will show something.

Thanks in advance for any other suggestions.

 

After reading countless threads, I found one that suggested checking the resistance on the injectors and attempting to start with the low ones disconnected. I did this and it started!!! WOOHOO!!!

I believe the kudos go to Vader from an older thread here!!!

I disconnected 3 injectors and it started (when it wouldn't start before!)
