Is it possiable to weld in between the tubes (at the collector)ededlbrock tes system

I have aleak where the four tubes meet on the pass side at the colletor, I was wondering is it possiable to weld down in there it seems pretty tight, I have not taken them off yet. They are in good shape besides the leak I would have just gotten new ones if they where not. So I am wondering is it possiable to weld them in that spot. Thanks

You cant do it from the top. You need to take the pipe off and weld from the inside.

If they are like these hedmans they are welded from the open end of the collector as shown in this pic when they are assembled. It's a tricky weld which probably explains the leak. If the headers have a long collector pipe, you may have to cut off the collector, repair the weld, then weld the collector back on. In this pic, there is a reducer to 2-1/2 bolted on the flange so it isn't this tight. I suggest using a MIG welder.
Good luck.

I've brazed a leak in that area. Sandblasted the spot to clean off the ceramic coating. Then with oxy/acty heated it and let the braze flow down into the opening. Used a small tip on the torch to prevent heating too much of an area.

Header was removed from vehicle for the repair.

The welds will hold. It's just difficult to get a good weld in there. A weld that isn't good (air tight) will leak. Brazing would be a good idea if a MIG isn't available.

The welds generally hold, as long as there's no stress and vibration on them.

Meaning, make sure your whole exhaust system isn't in a bind somehow; and that you're not doing something stupid and destined to fail, like running pipes under the car and just ending them someplace with nothing holding them up except the headers. Poor practice like that is GUARANTEED to break stuff. That set of welds, where the primaries connect at the heads, and everywhere else.

Seeing as how it's SO EASY to take those off, there's about ZERO sense in trying to fight the car to repair it. Just take it off and do it right.
