Fuel problem maybe?

Well I decided to keep the edelbrock tpi setup. We managed to get everything on with no leaks and it seems to have way more power now along with the headers and exhaust. But it does tend to fall on it's face after 3rd gear. it also idles a little funny. Kind of like it's got a bigger cam in it. But it stays steady around 700rpm. I changed the cap and rotor and plugs. The only thing I can notice is that the left rear fuel injector doesn't sit tight in the intake. All the others won't move, but this one will spin around. There is no fuel leaking out. So I'm curious what you guys think. Do I need bigger fuel injectors with this set up? The ones on there are stock which is 19lbs I think. Well thanks for the help.

One more thing I noticed, when I come to a stop or start from a light it's real choppy unless I get into it. When I put it in nuetral and stop it's not choppy at all. Anyone had this problem?

Bigger injectors with what set up?

A loose injector would leak air. That could be the cause of a lot of your symptoms, but probably not the 3rd gear thing.

Have you monitored fuel pressure under all of these conditions?

I have a 92 TA 5.7. No I'll have to figure out how to monitor the fuel pressure. I did spray some carb cleaner on the injector and nothing happened. The idle didn't go up or down. However the last bolt on the rear pass side lower runner is leaking. Would this cause the motor to jerk when coming to a stop? It's not a big leak but it is leaking.

Can anyone tell me if a leaking runner would cause the motor to jerk, hesitate, stumble when coming to a stop or just taking off? or is it just a fuel problem?

Well I fixed the leak on the runner and the car is still stumbling when I take off slow. If I get into it it goes just fine. Just when I barely hit the gas pedal is when it acts funny. So I'm curious if it's a fuel problem now. Is it possible I could have damaged one of the fuel injectors when i was taking the fuel rail off and putting it back on? Cause the left rear injector doesn't sit as far as down as the rest of them. It sticks up a few mm from the intake base. Any help on this one? Please?
