Knock Sensor Reliability
How reliable is our infamous knock sensor? Will it detect bottom in knock such as bearings? Or does it just detect detonation? Or is it simply useless?

Its purpose is to detect detonation, but for what its worth, solid lifter cams drive them crazy with the noise they make.

Yeah, that's too bad... Just paranoid from some unexplained engine noise... its probably an exhaust leak on the headers.
