I need advice on what cam to run with this setup?
350 4bolt non-roller .040over
doublehump #462 heads
edlebrock preformer intake
dynomax headers
600 cfm vac secondary holley
3000 b&m stall
3.42 gears with posi
2 1/2 inch dual exuast
350 turbo tranny
9:5:1 compression ratio

Ah, the same heads I have on mine. These are good quench heads.
Most 462s are off of 327s and are 62-63cc not 64. If you do a valve job be sure to cc them. Unless you have exhaust valve seat inserts put in you will have to run lead substitute in every tank of gas (no biggie).
Have you machined the front of the heads for accessory bolt holes? You can't just drill & tap holes.
Will this be a daily driver?
Headers, short or long tube?
What kind of gas do you want to run?
3000 stall and 9.5 C/R are a mismatch. A cam that needs a 3000 stall will want a higher static C/R, which you may have with 62cc heads.

Yea, that stall is too big for a performer manifold, and a holley 600cfm vac secondary carb. Doesn't really match up.

Is this for in your '86 Z-28 by chance?
You can always 0 deck the block to help boost the CR, and give you a perfecto quench distance.
