Engine oil
Hi
Just to ask a rather stupid question, what oil do I use for a 1992 pontiac firebird 3.1 V6
Is there a special oil to use for this car
I am based within the Uk, so will have to use the oil sold here, if anyone knows, please let me know, thanks all

nah, any basic 10w30 will get the job done. Lots of brands to pick from, lots of "personal favorites" on these boards as well... The bargain bin stuff is probably not ideal, and if you've got a lot of km's on it, then synthetic probably isn't a great idea.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere

These cars have no special requirements of any kind for their motor oil. Just regular decent 10W-30, or whatever grade is commonly called for over there currently for new cars if you guys use a different viscosity spec system from what we do, will work fine in it. It'll be the same oil, just spec'd differently.
