Gear Drive help

I Have a 350 in my camaro, and i was thinking about putting a gear drive on it, i'v heard people hate them or like them can anyone help me make up my mind??? thanks.

it supposeidly helps reduce friction, and the fact that it sounds like a blower.

It probably won't be compatable with a Knock Sensor.

It'll be fine with a knock sensor, but whatever made you think it reduces friction... well toss that idea in a trashcan because thats not true.

Most people hate the sound, even after liking it at first.
