how to adjust an aic

i had to buy a new aic bc my car was idleing funny and another guy on here had the same exact prob, so thats why i bought a new one... my question is how do you adjust it, bc my car is now somewhat fixed from the idle prob it had..so i think if i adjust the aic alil it will bring the idle where it should be.. this chiltons manual is garbage...
