My Car Stalled...

...And I have no idea why. I put it into reverse to back into my garage and it just shut off, no sputtering or strange noises. Nothing. I turned it back on, and backed it into the garage. No problems.

The only things wrong with it mechanically are coolant leaking from one of the head gaskets, and a slow tranny leak. Other than that, she's been running like a champ. The ignition system is all fairly new. And I maintain the car on a regular basis.

So the question is, would the computer have something to do with it?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I think you're right. I've been driving it the past few days, and no problems.

I was just concerned that there may be trouble with the computer or something. Well, if anyone else has any ideas let me know. Thanks.

Mine does that occasionally. Just a random stall backing up when its cold. I think it may have to do with a sticky IAC. If the computer can't adjust the mixture fast enough the car stalls.

I live in Miami. Cold weather isn't an issue.

I also serviced my IAC in the past year or so.
