All of a sudden, no starting - urgent help needed
Hello,
92 Z28, L98 350, T56.
I left for work this morning, car started no problem. I go to leave work and I get nothing. The engine cranks, fuel pump primes but I get no starting.
Checked the trouble codes, I get 42 45 51. From reading other posts not really sure where and why all of a sudden I get my EST circuit, 02 Rich reading and faulty PROM. I do burn my own chips, but I haven't done anything crazy. I tried switching the chips I had in the car (my previous burns as the chips are works in progress). I even tried using just the basic stock L98 350 chip (I have a hypertech chip that I use for swapping chips). I still got nothing.
I also tried disconnecting the battery, still nothing. Push start - nothing.
Anyone got any advice or leads to get my new large, heavy paperweight working?
Thanks,
Kyle

Do you have spark? Remove a plug and try starting it with the plug touching the block at the electrode end to see if you have an arc. If not, then try looking at your ignition components.
Apart from pulling the codes, I would be ensuring the car has the three necessary components for internal combustion before getting too technical. A fuel/air mix, a spark, and compression. If it's not even attempting to start or stumble, then one of these must be missing.
