i seem to have stumped everyone

ok let me start from the begining before i even put the car on the road my linkage for my shifter was messed up... but if i jamed it in 2 park it would stay and shift so i didnt think much of it.. about a weekago i decied 2 put one of those $20 autozone screw on shifters on since then i would have a problem getting my ignition lock into the lock postion but i would be able to get it into lock now 2 nights ago i was getting gas when i put the car into acc to listen 2 some tunes while i pumped gas when i was done i got in my car tryed to start and the ignition lock got stuck me be the @$$hole i am tryed to force it breaking the cylinder however i finally got it 2 move went to start the car and nothing all the lights would come on check engine choke seatbeat ect. but as a turn it. it felt like it wasnt turning all the way so i put it back in lock and the radio would stay on my uncle seems to think it was the linkage but then when we tryed to jump the starter to get it 2 a garge(iam way to fed up to do it myself) the starter wouldnt jump i have seem to stump every machanic to look at it and the ones i talked to also please if anyone has any ideas on what i can do or what the problem could be i would greatly apprate it

If that yellow rod is stuck down (from you putting a POS shiffter **** in) then it wont allow you to completly turn the ign. lock back. Its a safety feature.

Remedial English. I'd love to help, but I'm not about to puzzle through that abhorrent mess to figure out what the hell you are trying to say.

Try sentances, paragraphs, punctuation and capitalization and then maybe you'd get a good answer.

LOL,

I agree. Do not use 2 for to, when talking about a shifter, it just gets confusing.

At any rate, I would check that the metal bracket for your shifter linkage is mounted securely. (two bolts on tranny oil pan - if u do check them do yourself a favor and pull them and threadlock them).

I can't really tell what your symptoms are, but if there are four parts to inspect operation of.

1) shifter cable
2) ignition lock cable
3) bad tumbler in ignition lock cylinder
4) adjusting the ignition switch at base of steering column.
