looking into changing my manifold to a vortec style manifold

i was looking into the heads as well and iw as wondering what the bowtie on these mean?

that bowtie just means it has a little gm bowtie on the side of it right?

Hard to imagine a TPI setup handling those big Bowtie Vortecs.

give you some more info then. 58mm tb, ported plenum and slp runners done by myself so i dunno how good they are, but they are ported. cold air intake... and then comp cams .503 intake/.510 exhaust. this is with the stock 1.5 ratios, but il get 1.6 or 1.7 if the heads can take that lift. some vortecs can only take .500... but il have to look into that. exhaust is being done as we speak. just some cheep 2460s for now untill i make my own (i really want to say i made the whole exhaust, engine back, plus i have some ideas in my head i want to try)with true dual 2.5 with 2 borla 12 inch mufflers. electricle is done, and as soon as i get some more cash im going to buy the pocket programer 2 and see if i can do it myself. like doing the work myself, get to learn. anywho i think the setup is pretty solid and comming along well.
