High Performance Gaskets? HSR Gasket?
I am rebuying the blue '91 L98 Z28 that's in my sig but right now we have the motor in pieces, thus am in need of new gaskets. Hoping you guys could point us in the right direction... We want to get this car back together ASAP, appreciate the help!
First thing, the Stealth Ram gasket, that requires a unique gasket, right? A plain universal intake gasket from like O'Reilly's will not work, correct? So if it's a intake-specific gasket... where can I get it, and how much does it generally run?
Also, new high-performance gaskets for the heads and such... pretty much for all the other needed gaskets, where can those be found and how much do they generally run? We can find those paper like gaskets just about everywhere, but we need the high-performance ones that are the tougher material which seal better too.

HSR Gaskets are expensive and I couldn't find them locally in stock. I made my own from a sheet of gasket material, cost me about $7 and I can make 2.5 sets.
Hi-po head gaskets are generally $20 each and can be bought at most auto parts stores. The intake ones were $20/pair, iirc.

Let me know what you guys find out! Just settled the deal on some new heads, their being shipped out tomorrow morning, and I'd like to get my gaskets ordered tonight so everything will be here at one time to put car back together.

Sorry I didnt get back to you yesterday I was a little pressed for time before band practice but the holley pn for the plenum gaskets is 108-119
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...nresults=false
there 15 a pair and I personally silicon them to the plenum and usually get away with taking it off and putting it on quite a few times before they go out as far as the rest of the gaskets they can run from cheap to expensive it all depends on what your looking for and what you need
