I'm good up until the part that is underlined, then you lost me, be a little more clear. Did you jumpstart the car, or turn it off, drive it for a minute and it shut off or what? I really dont know what you're saying.

I turned the car off but left it in the on position with gas in it already. So I went and tried to jump it off. It worked for a min then quit so now it does not have any power or anything

I tried to give the car battery juice by using my truck to start it. But if it is not the battery then what could it be

Take your battery to an autozone near you to have them test it for you. Might have taken a dump on you. If that checks out, I would assume it is the alternator, but why would that decide to crap out just because you left your car in the on position?

I charged the battery and it turned and then it backfired like a shotgun. So now what are your thoughts on the problem of the car now.

How about some more info on what the engine is and what type of induction system its running. If it backfired like a shotgun you have more problems than your charging system. But seriously I cant make an educated guess on a problem unless you tell us more about what the car is.
