stock cam with comp springs?
so i have had a comp cams xr282hr in my engine now for about 4 months and kinda just jumped into it and didn't research it enough before installing said cam. i have stock heads that i had machined for it but no porting (yet) so i installed the comp springs 986-16 that matched the cam. i have the engine apart right now putting some new rings and bearings in it. (had 2 cylinders with excessive blowby) i am getting ready for a large move here in the next few months and i was wondering if i could just leave the springs on and put the stock cam back in without hurting anything? just wondering becuase i had to have the spring pockets machined for the larger diameter springs so the stock ones wont fit back in (and plus i wouldn't want old 100000 mile valve spring anyway)
thanks
thanks
