These Brand New Bearings Look Screwed!!!

I ordered a set of .001 undersized bearings to get my clearances more in spec after ordering a set of standard bearings. Bearings are FEM-4663MA and FEM-4663MA1 for the undersized ones; both orders from Summit.
The standard ones looked fine when I recieved them, nice and shiny. The undersized ones on the other hand look like they have a white coating all over them. I can't upload any pics for some reason but they look completely different.

They look to be possibly used and the packaging was torn like it has been opened before.

Standard bearings read (on back): 3201RA
2 06
U-STD
50-5
Undersized ones read: 3201CP
12 05
U .001
12

Are these correct and useable??? I wanted to get the bottom end done today...

DAMN TGO and attachments.

I can only get one picture to work. The white bearing looks fine in it to me. It's just a coating. Most of the rebuilder bearings I've used come with the white coating.

I thought it would be fine but wasn't sure. The bearings definitely look used too, these debris on them but I guess they are still good.

It doesn't make any sense that the previous set I bought was nice and shiny and these have a white coating on them. Same bearing just a different size. The coating comes off with laquer thinner and leaves a black mark on the coffee filters im using to clean them off with. And of course Summit tech isn't answering...

Ya, i've done that too.. But you dont have to remove the coating.. Not sure that you even should. I was almost wondering if they didnt coat them to make up the extra .001

Cool. Well, my clearances came out a little better but at this point its getting assembled no matter what. Its taken so long and I'm so mentally exhausted I'm getting it done and we'll see when it fires.
I may be creating a very expensive bomb but I'm so deep and will never recoup anyway I'm going to move on to another chapter...

I'm just thinking and ranting out loud.
