engine tick, rattle

Hey,

Ive got a 87 camaro with a 350 sb with comp cam, air gap intake and 4 barrell carb, the motor was rebuilt and only has around 7500 miles on it, i went the full 2000 mile break in period but now its makeing this low pitched ticking, almost like a rattle, that does it with the motor rpm, just wondering what this sound might be any hints would be great

could be simple thing like a loose exhaust bolt, could be as complicated as a blown bearing, perhaps the shop wasnt carefull or didnt wash the block after being machined.
