my 350 NOT tpi
Well my car started off its life as a 350 tpi with free mods and full exhaust (slp 1 3/4 headers and 3 catback) with just exhaust and free mods it ran a 14.4 with a 2.2 60 foot w/ stock 2.77 gears and a mis adjusted tv cable (shifting at 4k). Put a holley afpr on it and the diafram busted so i took all the tpi crap off and sold it. Im a carb guy and im on limited funds. I figured carb is easier to work on makes more power and is cheap but tpi is better economy and streetable. So i went out and did the carb swap holley street dominator high rise intake holley 670 street avenger carb summit hei dist. Now here is my question how much more power over tpi will this setup make on my stock internal engine. And what heads/ cam should i throw on here?

Port the stock heads. Cut the guides for positive stem seals. Replace springs with Comp 981 matching and retainers.
ZZ4 or XE268 cam. Holley 650 double pumper. 2500 stall converter. 3.42 gears (or whatever you can do with 9 bolt). Sticky tires.
Low 13's. Maybe high 12's.
