Check the 8th digit of the VIN to see what the car had from the factory.
To find out what it is now you'd have to check the stamps on the block, or disassemble it and see what's inside.

For an easy way to tell assuming the car is all original, L69's had the dual snorkel air cleaner. The lg4's have a single snorkel air cleaner.
What should that digit be?
