Question about TIming Chain Cam button?

Im in the middle of changing my timing chain. And theres so many different products out there i was thinking about going all with SUMMIT racing parts (timing chain and gears, harmonic balancer, thread chasers, etc) There parts called a can button?

Im considering getting

-true roller Double timing chain and gears,
-harmonic balancer,
-cam button,
-cam retaining locking plate with bolts.
-anti-wearing bearing gear to block.

I was wondering what would be a standard prcedure for replacing the timing chain. are all these extra things nessecery at all?

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
The button and wear plate are for roller situations. Flat-tappet cams don't need them.

The bolt locking plate isn't a bad idea, but isn't "necessary" either.

You'll no doubt notice that your engine has lasted however long with NONE of those things in it.
