Window Problem Please Help

Ok it's been some time since this has happened. I installed a radio myself and I know alittle about it (basic i would say) I rolled down the windows due to the hot weather and after installing the radio i might have shorted something because afterwards the windos would not go up. So I pulled the panels off and ran power to the motors and they went up now I have checked the circuit breakers and replaced them how rare is it for both swicthes to go out at the same time i removed them and checked them anyway there is no corrosion i do not remember if i disconnected the batter i'm almost sure I did but any advise would be helpful on where and what to look for and also is there a relay for the power windows and where is it located? thank you for your time to read my post

There are no relays for the window motors. They are operated directly by the switches. There are thermal overload units in the motors themselves, but if the motors worked by directly supplying power to them, that is not a problem.

Check for voltage and ground at the switches, connections at the doors, and connections at the motors.
