Cars running a little rich.Got a little black sute(carbon deposits) on the plugs.Will widdening the gap on the plugs help any by helping it to burn more efficiently?I`m going to try to get into burning proms but right now i need to get one reburned possibly to fix my rich problem,I guess.

No, opening the plug gap won't save you. As long as you're above .035", and have a decent spark, then that's not the problem.
