TBI overflow with Gas

Here is the deal, I bought this 1991 Pontiac Firebird with a 305 5.0L. It was not getting fuel. So, I've changed the Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, ICM, TPS, and 2 sets of fuel injector and it finally ran under it's own power for a min. Then, the TBI cought on fire. So, I noticed (After Fire was out) the right side injector is filling up the intake. What is causing this problem? I'm out of ideas. Except, Do I need a new ECM to control this issue?

seem like the injector isnt seated... but if it was on fire it will need a rebuild with all new sensors and injectors

Well that depends on how long it was on fire and what it burnt.

It was only on fire for a second. melted the TPS and that's all. I replaced the TPS and added a new computer and the over flow is no more. But, now I have a check engine light that is flashing really fast. How do I fix it? and why is it doing it?

A fast flashing SES is a checksum error on the PROM. Or, the wrong PROM was used in the new (used) computor. A '91 TBI setup should have the 1228746 ECM. This is shown as the Service # on the label.

the old computer must have died and left the injector open.
