your opinion....
i just received an '84 camaro z28 with the 305 HO for my 18th birthday...i just added the hooker cat back, and still want to do more...i have about 1000 bucks and need some advice on what performance parts i should get...i was thinking around the lines of a cowl hood, hotchkis springs, and a megashifter...please help me get the most bang for my buck...

LCA relocation brackets & LCAs; Edlebrock TES (coated) http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=EDL%2D68742 with a high-flow cat such as http://store.summitracing.com/partde...art=CTO%2D4116 ; 16" or 17" wheels & tires (stock IROC wheels look and work GREAT, or you could go the 4th gen wheels & spacers route); leave the hood alone; if it's an auto car, leave the shifter alone and get about a 2000-2200 RPM stall torque converter

I gotta hear some reasoning behind that, aside from "looks cool", i'm not understanding why. It'd be like $1000 easy just for the wheels and tires (if you're lucky), I can't see $1000 worth of gain out of 17" wheels and tires.I'd do moog springs over hotchkiss, throw in some KYB shocks too. I'd do poly bushings as well. Headers are a great first, as are sub frame connectors.
