I'm looking at this in ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-C...QQcmdZViewItem

I'm going to be running roughly a 450 hp combination with a vortech supercharger on top of that, so about 550-650hp. So, I don't really want to build the bottom end myself. Rather trust someone else to do it.

Here's how I figure:
Rotating assmbly-$1200
Block and machining-$600
Bearings installed, bottom end installed, and balanced-$3-400?

What are you guys' thoughts?

Myself I wouldnt buy anything on ebay unless I lived close to the guy If I had a problem with it. I think for that price you can go to a speed shop and get it built any way you want.

This caught my eye: "our racing engine division has won over 20 NASCAR championship titles."

I saw their engines on there too, have you had good experience with them? I would just like to get a block that I know is in good shape, not cracked or shifted.

i would go and look up their previous sales on ebay, see if you can ask some of the other people who bought the same or similar motor and find out if they were honest sellers or if there were problems. sometimes people put positive feedback when they shouldnt just so they get positive back themselves.
