newb 383 tpi engine build help

ok so my step dad has been into camaros forever and for my birthday and for helping him take apart four 3rd gens in the last year he gave me the body to one and a block and such. anyway i want to build the 350 to a 383 and throw some nitrous at it. the car is going to be pretty much just a fun track car, im not going for anything amazing just want to hit 11's. im going with one of the 700r trans we have laying around. what i really need some help with is deciding on how much nitrous to run to get where i want to be in the quarter and what parts to use in the engine. i dont really know if it would be better to run carb or not? but it would be cheaper for me to run tpi so that would def be a plus if i can run tpi. i would get a new chip for the tpi. so far i found this kit and with a nitrous cam they said it would be right about 725 shipped. the 383 flat top http://www.portandpolishing.com/masterkits.html they also told me they would do forged pistons and 4340 i beam rods and a cast steel crank for 900$ plus 400$ for the rest of the stuff in that kit if you link me to other sites with kits let me know wat is best ive seen domed pistons flat tops and dished and i dont know what i need. any info you think would be helpful i would greatly apreciate it thanks in advance

11's are pretty amazing.

Unless it's built to take the abuse, a 700R4 is probably going to give up long before you get into the 11's.

Getting into 11's on TPI is not going to be cheap.

well the car is going to have no smog it will have a manual steering rack no audio the 700 isnt a stock 700 its a more performance type and i was lookin at it as 120$ for the chip burning or the like what 400$? for a intake mani and 750 carb?

and i just threw 11 out there to be honest i just want a fun weekend track car thatll take a bit of abuse and a 150-250 shot of nos 150 if it will be alot cheaper and still safe more if it dosent affect price all to much

OOO and the block im using has 60000 miles on it would it benifit me greatly to have it bored or can i leave it stock size? thanks

Bore the block if it needs it, don't bore it if it doesn't.

How much money do you want to sink into the engine? How much money do you want to sink into upgrading the rest of the car to make it survive those power levels?
